Susan Stender

Susan Joyce Stender was born in Bertha, MN on January 20, 1949, the daughter of Oliver and Enid Beck. Susan graduated from Long Prairie High School. On June 10, 1967, Susan was united in marriage to Roger Stender. They had a dairy farm and together had four sons and 3 adopted daughters, many foster children and foreign exchange students.

On Tuesday, November 3, 2015, Susan passed away at Centracare in St. Cloud at the age of 66. Susan is preceded in death by her father, Oliver Beck. Susan is survived by her husband Roger, mother, Enid Beck, sons; Kipp (Janelle) Madison, MN, Deron, Virginia, MN, Chad (Kim) Alexandria, MN, Mason (Penny) Alexandria, MN, daughter Amanda Eskelson (Sam) Minot, ND. Grandchildren, Dylan Stender, Sadie Moltzen, Abigail Stender, Izabella Stender, Macy Stender, Jakob Stender, Brooklyn Stender, Kaidyn Stender and Alexander Eskelson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM following a visitation at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 6th, 2015 at the Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, Minnesota. A time of food and fellowship will take place immediately following the service. A private burial will take place at a later time.
