A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, 3675 Arboretum Dr, Chaska, MN 55318 at 11:30 AM with a visitation and gathering to follow till 300 PM

Suzanne Marie Pittel was born on August 17, 1959 one of three children to Ronald and Louise (Bokinskie) Burton of Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduating from high school, Suzanne started working in the banking industry and worked her way up to being a loan officer.
Suzanne passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Douglas County Hospital, of metastatic breast cancer. In her own words, "metastatic breast cancer is the only breast cancer that kills." Suzanne took the transition with a step off of life into the unknown of death. She fought hard to outlive cancer, but it's not a battle if you have no chance of winning. She was blessed in her life with so many friendships and for that she was most thankful.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Tom Burton.
She leaves behind her loving husband Pete of 30 years; her parents Ronald and Louise Burton; her sweet little sister Julie Auble and brother-in-law John. 12 paws must go on without their mommy too. Canine kid, Argo; feline kids, Cassie and Giblet.
