Terry Lynn (Berg) Roth passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 surrounded by family at Grand Arbor at the age of 90 (22 ½ in leap years).
Terry was born on February 29, 1924 in Clearbrook, Minnesota the daughter of John and Tilda Marie Berg (Christianson).
She married Elburn Roth on September 29, 1946 at Zion Lutheran Church. After they married they lived on the farm until 1978 and then moved to a home close to the farmstead.
During World War II, Terry, her sister Angie and friends supported the war effort and traveled by train to Seattle, WA to work at Boeing Aircraft building B-29’s.
Terry’s family was everything to her. She was talented in making home cooked meals, quilting, knitting, crocheting, needle point and sewing. Her personality was contagious to everyone; she was wise, loving and funny. Terry never failed to make all her friends and family laugh, even if she wasn’t trying. We truly know she’s “havin ‘er good” in heaven surrounded by those she loves.
She is survived by her four children and their children: Kathleen (Scott) Nielsen , of New Port Richey, FL; Gerald (Kolleen) Roth of Alexandria, MN; Diane (Ken) Ebensteiner of Audubon, MN; Bev (Keith) Brakke of Moorhead, MN; grandchildren: John Nielsen, Tammy (Matthew) Justin; Reggie (Kari) Roth; Jason Brakke; Kayla (Michael) Posch; two great grandchildren Riley and Tyler. She is preceded in death by her husband Elburn; sister, Evangeline “Angie” Ekdahl and brothers: Maurice, Harvey and Earl Berg.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 18, 2014, 11:30 AM at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial at Kinkead Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home. www.andersonfuneral.net
