Timothy Radil

Timothy Glenn Radil was born to Donald and Carol (Johnson) Radil on July 27, 1961, at the Douglas County Hospital. He grew up in Alexandria with his family and graduated from Jefferson Sr High in 1980.  Throughout the years he worked as a truck driver for H Boyd Nelson, 3M in Alexandria, and Srock Construction.  On the side he enjoyed helping friends and family with odd ball jobs.

He loved hunting, fishing, and camping, especially with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed riding motorcycle with the love of his life Anita and good friends.

Tim earned his wings on October 26, 2019, at the age of 58 years old.  He is survived by his children, Matthew (Katie) Radil and Jessica (Jason) Bolstad; grandchildren, Josh and Hannah Radil, Asher, Ervyn, Caleb and Ethan Bolstad; mother, Carol Radil; Anita Saathoff (Tim’s Sweetheart) & Family; brothers, Barry Radil, Terry (Karen) Radil; sisters, Denise (Gregg) Stoen and Lori (Chris) Zeman; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Tim is preceded in death by his father, Donald Radil; wife, Sue Radil, twin grandchildren, Alex and Katrina Radil; and many special relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at First Lutheran Church (1655 18th Ave E) in Alexandria.  Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Friday, November 1, 2019, at Anderson Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.  Inurnment will be at Lake Mary Cemetery in Lake Mary Township.
