Tracy Dean Wendt was born on August 26, 1971, in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Fredric Wendt and Ruth Raaum Wendt. He attended Isanti Middle School and when Tracy was in 9th grade the family moved to Starbuck where he graduated from High School. During his youth Tracy enjoyed playing baseball and received a trophy as the best base runner. He was also an excellent break dancer and received a medal for his break dancing at a competition. Tracy loved cruising around in his ?67 Chevy Impala Convertible and working on projects, large and small, in his shop. After his schooling Tracy went into carpentry where he did both residential and commercial work. Tracy was united in marriage to Heidi Wendt and to this union two children were born: Tiffany and Marissa. The family enjoyed camping trips together and Tracy enjoyed his time fishing with the girls. Tracy died on Sunday, July 29, 2012. He will be remembered as a loving, caring individual who was willing to help anyone who needed it. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Clark of Starbuck; children: Tiffany, Marissa & ex-wife, Heidi of Starbuck; brothers: Tony & wife, Shannon of Elk River; Jeff Lannes & wife, Melissa of Alexandria, sister, Kristi & husband, Wayne Johnson of Alexandria; step?mom, Sharon Wendt of Elk River, several nieces, nephews and special friend, Karen Beyer of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his father, Fredric; step-father, Vernon Lannes. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012, 11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria with Rev.
