Travis Radford

Travis Robert Radford was born on March 6, 1988, in Alexandria, Minnesota the son of Mark and April (Hill) Radford.  The family lived in the Alexandria area until Travis was one when they moved to California.  At the age of six he moved back to Nelson and lived with his Uncle Jerry and Aunt Judy and their family.  He graduated from Osakis High School and then furthered his education at Alexandria Technical College.

He met Meghan Hanson at a mutual friend’s house in 2007 and the couple started dating in 2009.   The couple enjoyed playing Diablo3 for hours and it amazed Travis that a “girl” would play this with him.  Travis and Meghan were married on January 26, 2012.  To this union two daughters were born: Violet who was born in 2010 and Charlotte who was born in 2014.   The girls were the light of his life and they enjoyed helping dad fix on his snowmobiles, play legos or just be together as a family.

Travis will be remembered as a very energetic, hard working man who was an awesome dad.  Travis died on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Meghan; daughters: Violet & Charlotte; mom, April Hill; brothers & sister: Terry Hill, Robert Hill, Grace Bous, Dean Bous; adoptive parents: Jerry & Judy Radford; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Mark.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home.  Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home.
