Troy Ziesemer

Troy Joseph Ziesemer was born on July 26, 1967, in Alexandria, Minnesota the son of Donald & Karen Ziesemer. He was baptized and confirmed at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Troy graduated from Jefferson Senior High School in Alexandria. During his schooling years he participated in hockey, wrestling and football. He enjoyed the outdoors ? fishing and hunting were some of his favorite past times. He also liked barbequing with friends and family. Troy died on Friday, June 13, 2008 at his home. He is survived by his parents: Donald and Karen Ziesemer of Garfield, MN; two sisters: Dawn Marie Johnson & partner, Jeff Daker of Fargo, ND, Leslie Ziesemer & partner, Kris Lemon of Forest Lake, MN; niece, Jessica & husband, Dustin Anderson of Fargo, ND; nephew, Cory Ziesemer & partner, Pam Wilson and four children of Evansville, MN, four great nieces and nephews: Haley Ziesemer, Brook, Dawson and Kalin Anderson He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Einar & Gladys Thorson, Richard & Amanda Ziesemer, several uncles and aunts. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 17, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke?s Lutheran Church in Garfield, Minnesota with Rev. David Gran officiating. Burial was at St. Luke?s Cemetery in Garfield. Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home.
