Wallace George Julseth

Wallace George Julseth, 75, of Alexandria, Minnesota, passed away on October 29, 2024. He was born on July 7, 1949, in Alexandria, Minnesota, to Gordon and Sylvia (Erickson) Julseth. Wally grew up the Alexandria area and attended Evansville Highschool where he graduated with the class of 1967.

After completing his education, Wally answered the call to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Air Force. He proudly served overseas in Vietnam and others. Wally did some mechanics on aircrafts ensuring the safety and efficiency of the planes he worked on.

Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, he did a lot of work on his family farm. He loved field work. He had worked at a few other farms as well. Wally loved to fish, snowmobile, hunt, he also loved music and his cat, Oliver.

Wally is survived by his brother, Norman (Lana) Julseth of Inver Grove Heights, MN; sisters: Carol (Kerry) Holmberg of Brandon, MN; Audrey Julseth of Alexandria, MN; and Barbara Wagner of Alexandria, MN; daughters: Dawn (Anthony) Staab of Dampa, TX; and Diva (Charles) of Alexandria, MN; 6 grandchildren; longtime friend of 21 years, Belinda Edwards of Des Moines, IA; and his beloved cat, Oliver.

Wally is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Sylvia Julseth; his brother, Richard Julseth and his twin brother, Warren Julseth.

Though Wally’s presence is no longer with us, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
