After completing his education, Warren answered the call to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Air Force in March of 1968. Warren utilized his mechanical skills as an aircraft mechanic, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the planes he worked on.
Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Warren returned to Alexandria, MN. He found employment at the Brandon Fertilizer Plant and later worked as a truck driver for Jacobsen Transportation out of Wheaton, MN. In his free time, Warren enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and lending a helping hand on his twin brother's farm.
