Warren Mason

Warren Lee Mason was born on July 21, 1959 in Mankato, MN to Norman and Hazel (Page) Mason. He enlisted into the United States Navy in 1977 and worked as an Aviation Mechanic and was honorably discharged in 1980. Warren received his GED while in St. Cloud. He also went to Brainerd Vocational Collage for welding. He later returned back to Mankato where he worked some welding jobs with his Dad. Warren enjoyed fishing and wood refinishing. He loved riding horses and motorcycles. Warren was proud of his service to his country and was very patriotic. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his cousin, Steve and his daughter and grandchildren. Warren died on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 52. He is survived by his daughter, Carissa (Andrew) Thole of Alexandria, grandchildren, Kyla and Kegan; brother, Calvin and sister, Carolyn; daughters mother, Jeannine Disselkamp of Morris and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Warren is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Hazel; sister, Connie and brother, Craig. A committal service will be held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
