Warren Walters

Warren passed away peacefully on October 17, 2014 at Grace Pointe Crossings in Cambridge, MN. He was born April 2, 1929 to Harry & Emma (Wagner) Walters on a farm in Hoffman, MN.
Warren loved the farming life growing up. He went on to proudly serve in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. After his honorable discharge, he started his life time career at Ludke & Co.
In 1953, Warren married LaRae Stoeck. They made their home on Little Latoka in Alexandria where they raised their two children, Peter & Debi.
In 1995, Warren married Arliss Ecklund. They made their home in Garfield, MN and Mesa, AZ and enjoyed traveling everywhere in between.
Warren loved to be surrounded by friends and family sharing stories and laughs and was always willing to offer a helping hand. He always looked forward to deer hunting with the neighborhood boys. He enjoyed playing cards, doing wood working projects and later in life, baking hundreds of cookies for his friends at Dreamland Villas in Mesa. He was very proud of his life time involvement with the Masons.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Arliss, brothers, Leslie (& wife Berniece), Norman (& wife Arlene) and Duane.
He is survived by his children Peter (Ayne) of Salt Lake City, UT and Debi (Steve) Michaels of Cambridge, MN. Grandchildren: Bailey Walters, Angel Anderson, Amber (Bo) Rackham , Luke, Zach & Hank Michaels, great granddaughter, Allissa Anderson and his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Anderson’s Funeral Home in Alexandria on Saturday October 25th at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour preceding. Burial will be at the Ft Snelling Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
