Wayne Weatherford

March 2, 1934 — June 14, 2009

Wayne Bryan Weatherford was born on March 2, 1934, in Moorhead, Minnesota the son of Vern and Selma (Muhle) Weatherford. He graduated from Glyndon High School and furthered his education graduating from North Dakota State University. On September 30, 1954, Wayne was united in marriage to Bonnie Boeddeker at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Moorhead. In 1957, the couple moved to the Minneapolis area where they started their family. During these years Wayne worked for Univac. After eighteen years of living in the Twin Cities the Weatherfords moved to Fargo, North Dakota where they started up their own printing business, Insty-Prints. In 1998, the couple retired and moved to Alexandria. Wayne had many different hobbies and interests. He enjoyed working in his garden and playing bingo. He also had a passion for reading and history. He will be remembered for his love of jokes and great story telling. He was loved and will be greatly missed. Mr. Weatherford died on Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He is survived by four daughters: Denise (Keith) Jesme of Thief River Falls, MN, Diane (Greg) Klinkhammer of Thief River Falls, MN, Dawn (David) Boll of Hastings, MN, Susan (Steve) Levandowski of Rosemount, MN; three sons: Bryan (Kim) of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Brandon (Missy) of Clawson, MI, Bruce of Minneapolis; fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, mother, Selma Weatherford of Moorhead; sister, Lois (Buzz) Arneson of Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; father, Vern; brother, Rodney. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 20th, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Alexandria
