Wayne Ward West was born in Pine River, MN on September 22, 1933 to Dale and Ivie (Johnson) West. He married Lois Schwientek on April 16, 1955 in Little Falls, MN and moved to St. Paul where he raised his family and worked for Twin City Bakery Bread for 34 years, until retiring in 1989. Wayne married Annabel Keller on June 27, 1986. They moved to Alexandria to be on the lake in 1989 where he enjoyed summer fishing and winter spearing. Wayne?s passion was to be outdoors and taking family and friends on the water where you were guaranteed to get a fish or two. He loved tending to his lawn, which was always immaculate. Wayne loved to watch sports on T.V. and it didn?t matter which one it was. Cribbage was also one of his favorite games to play and it was always a challenge to win at a game against him. He will be greatly missed by all who met and loved him. Wayne died on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the age of 75 from cancer. He is survived by wife, Annabel, loving partner of 23 years.
