William Verschoor

William ?Bill? Joseph Verschoor was born on December 16, 1961 in Sioux City, Iowa to William Edward Verschoor and Joan Patricia (St. Onge) Verschoor. He attended Heelan Catholic High School in Sioux City, IA where he graduated. Bill enlisted in the Marines. Bill was united in marriage to Cathy Baldwin in November of 1987 in Sartell, MN. To this union the couple was blessed with two children, Jennifer and Nicholas. The family lived in Minneapolis where Bill worked as a roofer. He later worked as a sales person in the food service industry. Bill enjoyed cooking, watching movies, swimming and laying in the sun. Bill also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and Twins. Most of all Bill loved spending time with his family. Bill died on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis at the age of 50. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Baldwin; son, Nicholas Baldwin both of Eden Prairie; sister, Diane (Rick) Manderscheid of Dallas, TX, Margee (Jim) Jahnke of Alexandria, and Kathy (Danny) Baxter of Sioux City, IA; ex-wife, Cathy Baldwin of Eden Prairie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Joan. A prayer service was held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at St. Ann?s Catholic Church in Brandon with Reverend Father LeRoy Scheierl. Music was provided by organist, Evelyn Lanners. Inurnment was held at St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery in Alexandria. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
