William Leo Wolf William was born in Antigo, WI on March 19,1934 the son of John and Iva Wolf. William grew up on a dairy farm in Lily. Farming was not for him and at age 20 he moved to Wausau where he met his wife, age 18. They were married on July 7, 1954. William was a very versatile man and had many kinds of jobs. However, the three jobs he liked the best was as a driver-salesman for Pepsi for seven years, owning his own mobile home repair business in West Fargo, ND and Alexandria, MN for fifteen years and as a life insurance salesman for Combined Insurance Company for ten years. William retired in 1997. He has lived in Lily, WI, Dee OR, Wausau, WI, St Cloud, MN, West Fargo, ND, and Alexandria, MN. He has lived in Alexandria, MN with his wife of fifty-five years, since 1980. William was a very active church member, being an usher, serving on the vestry and was a junior warden. He also did quite a bit of remodeling in the church. William was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. His hobbies were paint by number pictures, arts and craft, camping, sightseeing and working around his home and yard. William died Sunday morning, June 13, 2010 after a seven-month fight with cancer. He was seventy-six years old. He is survived by his wife, Bette, Alexandria; two daughters, Debra Seymour (Steve), Houston, TX, and Julie Olson (Gerald), Mahtomedi, MN; one son, Michael Wolf (Jane), Alexandria, MN; two brothers, Ronald Wolf (Donna), Antigo, WI; and Donald Wolf (Judy), Eau Claire, WI; one sister Mary Jane Boraca, Wausau, WI; six nephews, three nieces and several grand nephews and nieces. His son, William Patrick his parents, John and Iva Wolf, his four grandparents and two nephews preceded him in death. His family, friends and members of his church will miss William. His funeral was at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Alexandria on Thursday, June 17, 2010 with Fr. Noel Rich officiating. Arrangements were with Anderson Funeral Home. www.andersonfuneral.net
