Yvonne Suter

Yvonne Ruby Maxine (Lanning) Suter was born March 28, 1936, in Sacred Heart, Minnesota to Magnus and Selma (Dybsand) Lanning.  Yvonne was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and went to Sacred Heart Public School.  On April 30, 1954, she was united in marriage to Albert X. Suter at St. Clara Parsonage in Clara City, Minnesota.

Yvonne worked at many different jobs, but being a mom,  grandmother, and great-grandmother was her favorite.  She did many kinds of crafts, and lived and traveled to many states and countries. Yvonne loved her God, never forgot a birthday, was a great record keeper, was thoughtful, forgiving, and the glue to her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Yvonne passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers; Vernal and Romo; an infant daughter; and grandson, Gary Michael Suter.  She leaves behind her five children, Kim (Mark Skidmore) Suter, Kathy Lacey, Albert Charles Suter, Karen (Steve) Moe and James Suter; eight grandchildren, Justin (Courtney) Skidmore, Stephanie (Justin) Jenn, Amanda Ladner, Ali Lacey, Kyle (Amanda) Moe, Amber, Ashley and James Suter; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Cleo Lanning.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 4-6 PM with Parish Prayers at 4:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 2:00 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Knute Nelson Hospice.
