Barbara Lovell

Barbara “Barb” Jean Lovell was born on October 4, 1947, in Alexandria to Basil and Maurine (Prieb) Lovell.  She graduated from Jefferson High School in Alexandria.

Following her graduation, she continued her education in Rochester, MN and earned her nursing license. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Barb died on Monday, September 27, 2021, in Billings, MT at the age of 73.  She is survived by her two sons: Chris and Marty Lovell; three grandchildren: Madison, Alyssa, and Collin Lovell; two brothers, Barlow and Bob Hay. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Bruce Lovell.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, 10:30 a.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria, MN with visitation one-hour prior to the service. This service will be live-streamed and recorded for family and friends to view from Barb’s obituary page on the Anderson Funeral Home website at 10:30 AM on Saturday. Burial will be at Lake Geneva Cemetery in Alexandria, MN.
